What types of flooring can be removed?
We specialize in hard-to-remove surfaces such as glued down hardwood and carpet, ceramic tile, linoleum, marble, epoxy coating, and VCT.
What materials are removed during diamond floor grinding?
Floor grinding prepares a floor by creating an even surface, smoothing out elevation imperfections in the concrete, leaving the floor ready for installation with a smooth profile. This process can remove dirt, paint, thin set, coatings, adhesive, glue residue, mastics, and old stains.
How do you manage dust while floor grinding?
To control dust, we seal off the work area and keep the rest of the building or home free of dust. This includes using plastic tarps and tape to cover light fixtures, draperies, cabinets, countertops, art, stair banisters, and more. We also put up dust walls between work areas and non-work areas to contain the construction dust. Our dust control and debris services are included in the price of every job we bid at no extra charge
How does floor polishing achieve a reflective finish?
Our diamond grinders prepare the floor first, then we go over the surface with specialized resin grinding heads to polish the floor for a premium finish, using multiple passes depending on the level of reflection desired. This system allows for a range of styles of finish, from a low sheen to a mirror-like reflection.
